“Nox Apis,” latin for night bee is a 6”x6” kinetic broach assembled from a silver organza like fabric encircling a single animated black bee. The bee dips and flaps its wings with the help of a small motor and two 3v CR2032 coin cell batteries. The Bee is made from laser cut polyester drawing film, hand colored with brass accents. Nox Apis is designed as both a limited edition (10) collectible piece of art suitable for any budding collection or a show stopping conversation piece at your next big event.
