Avem Flore is intended to be enjoyed as both a wearable sculpture and a collectible piece of art. Each broach is hand assembled and shaped from laser cut satin and heat bent acrylic. With the flip of a switch three blooming flowers come to life, opening and closing like the hungry mouths of baby birds. What makes this small piece of magic possible besides the countless hours of trial and error is a single gear motor powered by two 3v CR2032 coin cell batteries. These are unfortunately not included.
